A donation to the Disaster Relief Fund helps where the need is greatest. With your support, we deliver humanitarian aid to the world’s most critical crisis zones. In addition, donations strengthen domestic emergency preparedness, ensuring that help can be provided quickly and efficiently when it’s needed most.

In Finland, your donation helps us train and support volunteers so that help is always close at hand. With your support, we distribute food aid, train volunteers for our buddy program, keep our youth shelters open year-round, and provide first aid training.

The need for aid in Ukraine remains immense. Basic healthcare, physical and mental rehabilitation, and livelihood support will be needed for a long time to come in Ukraine. With your support, we deliver essential health and social services to the areas where they are needed most.

The communication package helps make your donation visible

When you make a corporate donation of over 400 euros to the Red Cross, you will receive a comprehensive communications package as a token of our appreciation, tailored to the amount of your donation. The materials are available in three languages (Finnish, Swedish, and English). You will receive a link to the communication materials after making your donation or ordering an invoice online.

 

Communication packages tailored to donation amounts include social media images, a signature banner, and a donation certificate.

For those who make a larger donation (over 10,000 euros), we offer the opportunity to gain visibility for your corporate social responsibility efforts, videos of our relief work, and the chance to visit the Red Cross logistics center in Tampere, from which relief supplies are sent to crisis areas around the world.

When you donate online, you will receive an email titled "Thank you for your donation to the Finnish Red Cross". It is your receipt for accounting.
