Good Holiday Spirit collection
The Good Holiday Spirit donations are used to provide low-income families with children in Finland with €70 food vouchers for buying groceries to their Christmas table. The fundraising goal is €1.26 million, which will make it possible to donate gift cards to 18,000 families.
A gift card brings joy
The vouchers help families in a challenging situation due to e.g. unemployment, illness, excessive debt, low income or some other crisis situation.

Your donation will find the right family
The Finnish Red Cross branches and the local associations of the Mannerheim League for Child Welfare are assisted by partners such as social and immigration services, children’s health clinics, schools / school healthcare services and church social workers, who deliver the vouchers to families in need.
Over the years, donors have supported hundreds of thousands of families
The Good Holiday Spirit fundraising campaign is organised for the 30th time in 2026. The collection is implemented by the Finnish Red Cross and the Mannerheim League for Child Welfare. Campaign is conducted in partnership with K Grocery Stores and Lidl.
