Hunger Day 2026 Draw Rules

1. Organizer of the Draw 

The Finnish Red Cross

2. Timeframe 

Participation in the draw is open September 24th until October 10th, 2026.

3. Participation

All box collectors living in Finland who participated in the 2026 Hunger Day collection can participate in the draw. Individuals involved in the planning or execution of the draw—and their family members—are not permitted to participate. 

4. Conducting the Draw, Notifying Winners, and Delivering Prizes 

The prizes will be drawn in the presence of an impartial person on October 12th, 2026. All box collectors living in Finland who participated in the 2026 Hunger Day collection can participate in the draw. Participation takes place by filling in the lottery form in connection with the collection feedback survey, in which consent is given to participate in the draw. Winners will be notified individually and asked to provide a delivery address within Finland. If a winner does not respond within 7 days, the win will be voided and the organizer reserves the right to select a new winner. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash or any other form of prize.

5. The Prizes

10 first aid kits for general use (normal price 45,90€/piece). 

6. Processing of Personal Data

Data The Finnish Red Cross processes participants’ personal data for the purpose of conducting the draw and delivering the prizes, as described in the privacy policy. 

7. Publicity and Other Conditions

The organizer reserves the right to publicize the winners’ names (first name + the first letter of the surname + place of residence) on its websites. The organizer is responsible for any lottery taxes. The organizer also reserves the right to make changes to the execution of the draw, such as changes concerning the prizes, by notifying these changes on its websites. If there is reason to suspect dishonest behavior by a participant, the organizer reserves the right to disqualify that participant.
