By donating you can make sure that those in need are not left alone during the coronavirus pandemic in Finland or abroad. Funds will enable the Finnish Red Cross to respond to aid needs quickly and efficiently when needed.

Currently, thousands of friend visitor activities’ volunteers are communicating with their friends over the telephone, by messaging and online more than ever. They help alleviate the fear and anxiety caused by the virus especially among the elderly and those belonging to a risk group.

The discussion services offered by Youth Shelters are also in high demand. Red Cross volunteers serve in the Sekasin chat service, for example, and answer questions by concerned young people.

Thousands of people live in inhumane conditions in Greek and Turkish camps. In addition to healthcare and clean water, the spread of coronavirus is addressed by sharing hygiene kits.
