Do you want to help the victims of the disaster in Haiti by collecting money in your home town? Simply get in touch with your local Finnish Red Cross district office and you’ll be told where you can pick up an FRC vest and collection box. We’ll update these pages as we find out more about local collection drives.

The need for aid is urgent, as the International Red Cross estimates that up to three million people are in need of help in earthquake-stricken Haiti.

Collection in central Helsinki by the Helsinki and Uusimaa District, Tuesday–Saturday this week (19–23 January 2010)

Collection equipment and directions from the Helsinki and Uusimaa District Collection Centre (HUP in Keräyskeskus), which is located in the Walkers Café run by Aseman lapset ry at the Forum end of the Old Bus Station Building. Entrance through the door facing Lasipalatsi.

Opening hours: Tuesday–Friday 19–22 January, 8 a.m.–8 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m.–6 p.m.
